About the Blog
I started this blog way back in 2007 as an outlet for the rage, frustration, joy and terror of being a volunteer clinic escort in Fredericton, New Brunswick (Canada).
Many abortion clinics in North America attract regular protesters who exercise varying degrees of harassment to prevent staff and patients from entering the clinics. Volunteer patient escorts act as guides for patients attempting to enter the clinic.
I am now based in Toronto and no longer work or volunteer in abortion care, but I maintain this blog as a collection of stories, news, and analysis centered on reproductive health and justice, with a Canadian content focus. I encourage contributions and comments from all corners.
